Turner County School System strives to provide a high-quality education leading to success in college, career, and life to all students. While we do not believe that technology is the sole contributor to a high-quality education, we feel the use of technology in the classroom can accelerate learning by improving engagement and knowledge retention as well as encouraging individual learning and collaboration. We envision a technology department that provides exceptional resources, new and innovative opportunities, and unprecedented support.
Our vision
- Maintain the student to device ratio from a ratio 1:1 allowing students immediate access to technology.

Continue to provide appropriate content filtering and monitoring to ensure safe access to the internet.

Employ technology as a tool to support teacher and student efforts

Monitor student and teacher technology literacy

Increase wireless coverage at all locations.

Expand learning and communication beyond the classroom and school walls. All students have a device that is taken home daily and over access points have been provided to over 85 families.

Employ and support staff who possess the skills to integrate technology into the classroom and are passionate about learning, inspiring students
